Preparation For Purpose
As a little girl my dream was to always be the best at everything that I put my mind and hands on. As I got older my dream became at a stand still. Simple do to this thing called life and bills. Which we all know we can’t live in this world for free especially if you have children and guess what, I have two.
I had to redirect my focus when my children came and of course I had to think about my financial situation. I mean, I thought I had it going on working my dream job, salon owner, running my online businesses having multiple streams of income coming in. I know your thinking sweet.
The truth of the matter is I was extremely exhausted. Even though I workout and take all natural supplements but, no matter how much money I made, time freedom is what I was missing. You know the time freedom you suppose to have when you are an entrepreneur. The drive was there, the money was there, but the mindset was out the window.
When I realized that my mindset needed a shift, I had to revamp my goals based on the fact that my family needs me. I started doing some personal and more spiritual development and changing my circle of influence. Then started connecting with the people who have the mindset, money and time freedom. People like me with similar stories.
I began to network with different people, some served purpose, some caused pain, some inspired, and friendships where built. We focused on leadership and building each other up but it wasn’t good enough because I still didn’t have the time freedom.
After brainstorming on what is next level to grow into my destiny I felt like I needed more and I need found exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’m forever grateful for my two mentors that came in my life. It allowed me to see my journey in a different aspect. It’s not about how much money you make it’s how you spend it and leverage it.
